Please be advised that the SC Voucher System will be down all day Thursday, November 29, 2018, for conversion to the new SC Voucher Plus System.  The telephone lines will be up and staff will handle calls and assist all clients and providers within the limitations of the lack of system availability.  Normal services will resume Friday, November 30, 2018, at 8:00 a.m.  It is our goal to provide exemplary customer service as we assist you in serving the children of South Carolina.

Child Care Licensing will be hosting a 2018 Child Care Center Regulations training across the state.  Locations and registration information can be found here.

The Governor's Advisory Committee on the Regulation of Child Care Facilities meeting will be held January 22, 2019, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the DSS North Tower Building located at 1535 Confederate Ave. Extension, Room 307-310, Columbia, SC 29201.

New Legislation for Family Child Care Homes (FCCH) takes effect July 1, 2017 and and it will require 10 hours of training instead of 2 hours of training for licensed and registered family child care providers.  Click here for more information.
